Roadmap

There's been a few folks asking at the semi-official thread about what features are available and what other features might or might not be in the future. To help answer those, I decided to come up with a roadmap. If you'd like to add your suggestions please post to this thread or this handy form on the contact page.

Key Done 50% or more way not done

  • My Laps
    • enter lap times - in planning stage
    • edit lap times - in planning stage
• My Cars
  • enter cars - done
  • edit cars - maybe 75% done
• My tracks
  • enter tracks - done
  • edit tracks - mostly done
• My Settings
  • change your email, password, etc. - long way off. not hard to do but low on the priority list
• Other features
  • Reporting - you'll be able to flag tracks, laps, cars as duplicates, false, inaccurate, etc...
    • Report Track - mostly done - mostly functional
    • Report Lap - in planning stage
    • Report Car - in planning stage
  • Roles - Admin, moderator, user, meat-ball
  • Admin - will have total control of the site
  • Moderator - will be able to edit news items, maintain track lists
  • User - will be able to enter tracks, enter cars, enter lap times, flag tracks, cars, etc (see reporting above)
  • Meat-ball - banned
  • Lap Times
  • Viewing - sort by car, user, event, track ,class, etc.
  • Search - search and compare various criteria - car, user, event, track, class, etc.
  • Notification - users can be notified if some one enters a time for a particular track, class, etc.
  • Misc
  • Interface - I havent settled on the interface for the site yet so things might change with each visit. :)
